Relevant Skills and Experience: I am an experienced caregiver, with particular experience caring for the elderly and school-aged children.  I am presently supporting a Hong Kong based family and my responsibilities include:  caring for and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for 2 school-age children; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of the child; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing activities and outings for children; supporting the child’s intellectual development; transporting and accompanying the child in a busy urban setting; and household responsibilities.  As an elderly caregiver, my responsibilities included:  accompanying the client to medical appointments; preparing nutritious meals; grocery shopping; bathing, dressing and personal grooming; performing household-related errands; housekeeping and laundry; changing bed linens; monitoring the day-to-day condition of my client; assisting with mobility challenges; assisting with administering medication; accompanying hert to activities and day programs; and full housekeeping.

Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position:   I approach all situations with patience and have learned how to prioritize the physical needs of someone and also their emotional well-being (I’m very positive).  I’m also a parent myself, which has given me the opportunity to observe the development of a child from very close proximity – very rewarding.
