Vancouver-based family is presently seeking an experienced caregiver to care for an newborn/infant and a toddler. The position is expected to commence as soon as possible. Childcare will take place in the employer’s home.

Public transportation is available; Work in employer’s/client’s home
Reliability; Effective interpersonal skills; team player; excellent oral communication; judgement and intuitiveness; and flexibility
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; and shop for food and household supplies.
Specific Childcare Skills:
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare meals for young children, change diapers, prepare children for rest periods, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child, tend to emotional well-being of child, supervise and care for child, prepare and serve nutritious meals, bathe, dress and feed children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, organize, activities such as games and outings for child.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Wage: Higher of $14.50/hour or Prevailing Wage

Experience: At least 1 year of childcare or related experience is strongly preferred.
