Relevant Skills and Experience: I am a vocational nurse and experienced caregiver for children, with particular experience caring for newborns. I am presently supporting a family in Hong Kong with 4 children but primarily responsible for the infant. My responsibilities include: maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for children, including: newborn and infant care; bathing, dressing, diapering and feeding an infant and toddler; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings for children; instructing children in personal hygiene and social development; and taking children to and from appointments and activities. My responsibilities also include housekeeping.
Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position: I became a nurse because I love taking care of others – especially those that are most vulnerable. However, being a caregiver gives me the unique opportunity to apply those skills on a more individualized basis.
