Relevant Skills and Experience: Maria is an experienced caregiver for children and the elderly with particular experience caring for infants. Her prior roles include supporting: (i) a Vancouver-based family as a caregiver for their child (6 months at commencement) for 4 years; (ii) a 94 year old client in West Vancouver for 5 years; (ii) a Vancouver-based family as a caregiver for their child (1 year old at commencement); and (ii) a Taiwan-based family as a caregiver for their 3 children (newborn at commencement) for 6 years. Her past childcare responsibilities have included: maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for the child, including: newborn, infant and toddler care; bathing, dressing and feeding an infant/child; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of the child; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings for the children; instructing the children in in personal hygiene and social development; and taking the children to and from school, appointments and activities. Maria Cecilia also is experienced in housekeeping. As a caregiver for the elderly, Maria’s responsibilities have included: accompanying client to medical appointments; preparing nutritious meals; grocery shopping; bathing, dressing and personal grooming; performing household-related errands; housekeeping and laundry; changing bed linens; monitoring day-to-day condition of the client; assisting with administering medication and accompanying clients to activities and day programs. - Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position: Maria is patient and dedicated to her assignments.
