Years of Experience: 9 years of experience as a nanny in Dubai and Hong Kong, with experience supporting Western families.
Present Work Status: Since 2016, Janie has supported a Hong Kong-based family, caring for their newborn child.
Relevant Skills and Experience: Janie is an experienced caregiver for children, with particular experience in caring for newborn, infant, toddler and school age children. Her prior roles include, supporting (i) a Dubai-based British family, caring for infant child for nearly 3 years and (ii) a Dubai-based family from South Africa, caring for their their 3 year old and 7 year old children for nearly 4 years. Janie’s past responsibilities have included: maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for children, including: newborn and infant care; bathing, dressing and feeding an infant/child; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings for children; instructing children in personal hygiene and social development; and taking children to and from school, appointments and activities. Janie is also experienced in housekeeping and supporting Western Families.
Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position:
Janie has a very compassionate nature and very focused on her caregiver responsibilities. She believes that patience is the most valuable asset of a caregiver and also believes that honesty and openness or important to this role.
Certifications & Additional Skills: She holds a; (i) Bachelor of Science in Marketing (Philippines); (ii) Caregiver Certificate (Philippines); and (iii) Health Care Services Certificate (Philippines)
