Relevant Skills and Experience: I am an experienced and qualified nurse but have decided that my true passion is providing more personalized attention as a caregiver. I am presently caring for a stroke survivor in Hong Kong. My extensive as registered nurse include work as a pediatric nurse, recovery room nurse and anesthesia nurse. My responsibilities have included (and presently include): accompanying client to medical appointment; preparing nutritious meals; grocery shopping; bathing, dressing and personal grooming; performing household-related errands; housekeeping and laundry; changing bed linens; monitoring day-to-day condition of the client; assisting with administering medication; accompanying client to physical therapy and rehabilitation sessions; assisting physicians during patient assessments and procedures; assessing, monitoring and reporting clinical observations to the resident physician; performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures; administering medication; assisting during emergencies: intubations, CPR and defibrillation.
