Relevant Skills and Experience: I am an experienced caregiver for children, with particular experience caring for preschool and school-aged children. I am presently supporting a Hong Kong-based family by caring for their 2 children (4 and 6 at commencement) and have prior experience supporting 2 additional families in Hong Kong with school-aged children. In Jordan, I supported a family with 4 children, ranging in age from newborn to school-age. My present and past responsibilities have been maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for the children, including: infant and toddler care; bathing, dressing and feeding an infant; preparing bottles; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of the children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings, taking children to and from school, appointments and activities; and general housekeeping.supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of the children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings, taking children to and from school, appointments and activities; and general housekeeping.
Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position: Children are amazing and I am focused on giving them the attention and support they need for their intellectual and emotional development. Caring for them brings so much joy to me – that it is difficult for me to consider it a “job.”
Certifications & Additional Skills: Emedina has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
