Relevant Skills and Experience: I am a certified caregiver, trained specifically to provide in-home care to children, the elderly and those with special or high medical needs. My prior training and responsibilities for childcare have included: maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for children, including: newborn and infant care; bathing, dressing and feeding an infant/child; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of children; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings for children; instructing children in personal hygiene and social development; and taking children to and from school, appointments and activities. I am also experienced in housekeeping. For the elderly, my prior responsibilities have included: preparing nutritious meals; bathing, dressing and personal grooming; bowel and bladder care; performing household-related errands; housekeeping and laundry; changing bed linens; monitoring day-to-day condition of the client; operating a lifting machine; assisting client with in-home dialysis equipment; assisting with administering medication and accompanying clients to activities and day programs.
