Personal Statement: I believe that there are few greater callings than caring for others who are unable to care for themselves. This is why I have decided to become a caregiver. What I’ve learned is that I thrive in the most difficult of caregiving situations, because it is during this time that I am entirely focused on serving. From the elderly to children with special needs, being a caregiver proven to be the most rewarding aspect of my professional life.

Relevant Skills and Experience: My experience includes caring for children (including those with special needs) and elderly persons. My work supporting the elderly has required tube feeding, administering diabetic injections, bathing and assisting with physical therapy. I have experience working with special needs children, particularly those affected by autism.
