Relevant Skills and Experience: I am an experienced caregiver for children, with particular experience caring for newborns, infants, and school-age children. Presently, I am supporting a Hong Kong-based family caring for their school-age children. In my prior role, I cared for a newborn child. My responsibilities include and have included: maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home for a newborn-infant-toddler and school-age children; newborn care; bathing, dressing and feeding the child; supervising, caring for and tending to the emotional well-being of the child; preparing and serving nutritious meals; organizing, activities such as games and outings for child; instructing child in personal hygiene, potty training and social development; taking child to and from school, appointments and activities; and full housekeeping.
Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position: I believe that being a child caregiver requires a strong sense of patience, kindness and responsibility. After supporting 2 families here in Hong Kong, what I’ve come to value most is the relationship that I’ve built with the families and the children.
Certifications & Additional Skills: I have have a completed a program in Computer Technology.
